Εξέταση Συνύπαρξης Συστημάτων Ευρυεκπομπής Με Κινητή Υπηρεσία

Abstract

Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία αναλύει τη συνύπαρξη υπηρεσιών τηλεόρασης (αναλογικής και ψηφιακής) και υπηρεσιών κινητής τηλεφωνίας στη UHF ζώνη συχνοτήτων. Εξαιτίας της μετάβασης από την αναλογική στην ψηφιακή τηλεόραση αναμένεται να απελευθερωθούν νέες συχνότητες προς εκμετάλλευση (digital dividend) στη ζώνη αυτή. Αρχικά, λοιπόν, γίνεται παρουσίαση της δομής και της λειτουργίας του προτύπου DVB-T για την ψηφιακή τηλεόραση και του συστήματος UMTS/ΙΜΤ-2000 για την κινητή τηλεφωνία. Γίνεται, επίσης, αναφορά στη δράση των συνεδρίων RRC-06 και WRC-07, οι αποφάσεις των οποίων επηρέασαν τη διαμόρφωση του νέου παγκόσμιου ψηφιακού χάρτη. Στη συνέχεια γίνεται μελέτη συνύπαρξης στη UHF ζώνη συχνοτήτων της αναλογικής τηλεόρασης με υπηρεσίες κινητής τηλεφωνίας και μελετώνται ζητήματα παρεμβολών. Ακολουθεί όμοια μελέτη συνύπαρξης ψηφιακής τηλεόρασης και υπηρεσιών κινητής τηλεφωνίας, όπου, επίσης, μελετώνται ζητήματα παρεμβολών και προτείνονται τεχνικές μείωσής τους καθώς και λύσεις αρμονικής συνύπαρξης. Τέλος, προσεγγίζεται το ζήτημα αξιοποίησης των νέων συχνοτήτων τόσο από την πλευρά των παρόχων ψηφιακής τηλεόρασης όσο και από την πλευρά των παρόχων κινητής τηλεφωνίας.This thesis analyzes the feasibility of the coexistence of television systems (analogueor digital) and mobile telephony systems in the UHF frequency band. Due to thetransition from analogue to digital television, frequencies from this band are expectedto be available for utilization by new telecommunications technologies (digitaldividend).First of all, the structure and operation of the standards DVB-T of digital televisionand UMTS/IMT-2000 of mobile telephony are presented. In addition, there’s a referto the conferences RRC-06 and WRC-07, the final acts of which affected theformation of the new world digital map.Following, a study of the coexistence of analogue television with mobile telephony ispresented and interference issues between these two systems are studied. In addition,a similar study of the coexistence of digital television and mobile telephony ispresented, where, also, interference issues between these two systems are analyzedand some techniques for the reduction of this interference are proposed.Finally, the issue of the utilization of these new available frequencies is approachedboth from the point of view of the digital television and the mobile telephonyoperators.
