The weaknesses that appear in the current model for public service design and delivery and specifically the lack of interaction between the public sector and the citizens, as well as the absence of new innovative technologies, constitute this model no longer viable. In the frames of this thesis, a new participatory system for public service design and delivery, that sets citizen views in the center of the planning process, is evaluated. The new model utilizes the internet as a means of communication between citizens and public administration. In addition, it uses Web2.0 applications for retrieving information and for utilizing user generated content. For the purpose of the evaluation, the benefits of the new model are recognized in contrast with the old one and the possible risks of its application are analyzed. Furthermore, the citizens opinions for the new model are examined through a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) methodology. The TAM model is presented and applied in a case study and the results are analyzed. Finally, the conclusions from the whole process stages are summed and the new model prospects are discussed.
