Abstract:	Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελεί μια αναλυτική παρουσίαση και μελέτη των blockchain συστημάτων Etehreum και Solana. Στη συνέχεια, η εργασία επεκτείνεται σε μια συγκριτική μελέτη των επιδόσεων των δύο αυτών blockchains μέσω της χρήσης του Blockbench Benchmarking Tool.
